About the Seagrass...
A longtime favorite along the Homosassa River, The Seagrass Waterfront Restaurant & Resort was proudly rebuilt and reopened by Basil Green in 2013. The Seagrass continues its tradition of warm hospitality, exceptional dining and some of the most breathtaking views on the river.
Enjoy waterfront lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch from our screened porch, tiki bar and patio or our air-conditioned dining room and indoor bar—all just steps from the water's edge.
Whether you're arriving by land or water, Seagrass welcomes you. We offer complimentary docking for guests arriving by boat and our dog-friendly Tiki Bar provides the perfect spot to enjoy waterfront dining and drinks with your furry friends by your side. We also offer a Tail Waggers Menu so your dog can enjoy a snack too!
The Seagrass Resort is eagerly looking toward its next chapter following the damage sustained during Hurricane Helene. We are excited to rebuild and reimagine the property creating a beautifully redesigned waterfront retreat that will offer exceptional accommodations, beautiful river views and enhanced amenities for our guests to enjoy.
While reconstruction plans continue to move forward, we are pleased to offer one charming one-bedroom cottage, providing guests with an opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Homosassa River today.
